Networking Best Practices

This event is open to all CLA students-and ALL students regardless of the college in which they are registered! Students registered in CLA 3002 can attend this event as one of their Employer Engagement Activities.

Registration on Handshake desired but not required; email hirecla@umn.edu with any problems registering. You can also simply show up!

Have you ever been interested in networking, but not sure where to start? Join Ameriprise Financial for this interactive event to learn more about the art of networking.

During the session, members of the Ameriprise Advisor Center and the campus recruiting team will offer best practices for expanding your network, tips on how to have an informational interview, and examples of what action steps you should take following a networking event. Attend this event and gain valuable, applicable tricks you can take with you for your next networking event.

Registration via Handshake is strongly encouraged but not required. Space is limited at this event, so please arrive by the start of the event (or when you're able). Refreshments will be served. We can't wait to see you there!
