Learn About Graduate Study in Technical Communication

Our certificate and MS programs welcome individuals interested in making a career transition or advancing their career in the field. UMN staff pursue our programs through the Regent’s Scholarship program to gain skills that support their career development.

Students in our fully online post-baccalaureate certificate in technical communication and MS in scientific & technical communication programs apply research-driven approaches to create and adapt content to solve complex problems in technical communication workplaces. Students connect with workplace professionals through client projects, virtual and global teamwork, mentorships, and emerging technologies. These experiences enable students to develop unique strengths in digital, usability, and science/health/medical communication.

Attendees will meet with program faculty and staff to learn about career opportunities in technical communication, how we help you prepare for them, and how to prepare to apply to our programs.
