Duin worked to develop student exchange and associated agreements with the University of Trieste in Trieste, Italy; co-presented a paper titled "Developing complementary LSP competencies through trans-Atlantic online collaborative projects" at the International Conference of the Slovene Association of Language for Special Purposes (LSP), May 18-20, 2017; presented a workshop, Teaching and Learning in a Digital Age, to U Trieste faculty throughout the institution; and co-taught classes with Professor Giuseppe Palumbo (who visited UMN in July 2016 also as part of this partnership development).

The target timeframe for a student learning abroad experience to Italy and possibly Slovenia is mid to late May, 2019. More details will be shared in the coming months!
