Jason Tham selected as DRC graduate fellow
Jason Tham is selected as one of six Graduate Fellows of the Sweetland Digital Rhetoric Collaborative (DRC) at the University of Michigan. The program "aims to recognize graduate students currently working in digital rhetoric who want practical experience in online publishing and website development."
Jason will be completing two digital projects that seek to expand the scholarship of the computers and writing community. He is planning to examine how wearables and Internet of Things interfaces might help us understand and practice multimodal composition. He also plans to explore ways in which design thinking and maker culture intersect with technical communication pedagogy. Jason is also tasked with managing DRC's social media platforms.
Jason wants to thank his advisor, Dr. Ann Hill Duin, for supporting his DRC Fellows application.
