Mortensen Academic Award Winners 2023-2024

We are pleased to share that the Mortensen Academic Award has been granted to five outstanding individuals: Brooke Reardon, John Michicich, Emma Leischow, Devon McCarthy, and Hanna Babyna. This academic scholarship, totaling $1,000, is a tribute to Junita J. Mortensen. 

The recipients were carefully chosen based on several criteria, including the strength of their academic records in psychology, their demonstrated promise, active involvement in the Psychology discipline, clarity of academic purpose, the quality of their personal statements, and their past engagement in relevant extracurricular, volunteer, research, and work activities.
