As Assistant Director of Writing Across the Curriculum, I support department faculty in developing and implementing Writing-Enriched Curriculum plans; facilitate Teaching with Writing programming; and consult with faculty. Through my work, I aim to help faculty and students build more positive, empowered relationships with writing and teaching.
My research explores praxis for collaborative, equity-oriented writing program administration. In 2024, I earned my Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Scientific & Technical Communication in UMN’s Writing Studies department. My dissertation explored strategies for racial equity work in writing across the curriculum administration and teaching.
Previously, I have enjoyed working in a range of writing programs at UMN and beyond, including serving as Assistant Director of First-Year Writing, Undergraduate Curriculum and Assessment Specialist in Technical Writing and Communication, and Assessment Coordinator for the Bloomsburg University Writing Center. I have taught courses in first-year writing and technical and professional communication.
