Anna’s role with The Hub includes communications, administration, and finance. She is dedicated to administrative justice and helping to streamline community-university partnerships by being an approachable liaison between the public and the university fiscal office. She works closely with Hub residents and community partners to manage their projects’ budgets and helps to ensure folks are compensated in a timely manner.
Anna is also a current Master's student in the Heritage Studies and Public History Program. She’s interested in public memory and intersections between race, gender and sexual violence within legacies of slavery and racial injustice in the U.S.
Anna has previous experience as a research assistant for the HBCU History and Culture Access Consortium at the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture and in public programs at the Hennepin History Museum.
