Programs at The Hub

Hub programs support and sustain community-university collaboration. The Hub offers both funded award programs that support collaborative projects and research, as well as a variety of workshops that are open to the public.

Apply Now: 2025-26 Hub Residencies

The Liberal Arts Engagement Hub is currently seeking proposals for 2025–2026 Residencies, which run from July 2025 through June 2026. Hub Residencies, our signature program, support community-based collaborative projects that engage a topic of important public interest and involve at least one community partner and one person affiliated with the University of Minnesota’s College of Liberal Arts.

Hub workshops are centered around techniques and best practices for community-engaged humanities work. Always open to the public, these workshops are designed to bring together University and community members who are interested or already deeply engaged in humanities-based, community-collaborative projects.
