The Department of American Indian Studies invites you to join them in a community celebration of their new academic home, Pattee Hall! 

In this new departmental home, our teaching and research will thrive, our Dakota and Ojibwe language programs will flourish, we will expand our oral history work, develop our PhD program, and we will have a warm and welcoming space to continue our community work. We thank you for your efforts to support the work of our department. We hope you are able to join us in celebration.

4:00 pm: Remarks & Ribbon Cutting, featuring Dean Ann Waltner & Dr. David Aiona Chang, AIS Chair

Open House to follow, with opportunities to preview AIS' new department home and learn more about our new Ph.D. program, Dakota language program, Ojibwe language program, and meet faculty. Light appetizers and beverages provided.
