AMES Colloquium Series 2023 presents: "Anarchipelagic Cosmopolitanism: Messy Stories from Waterborne Lands in South Asia" with Dhrijyoti Kalita, PhD Candidate, Asian and Middle Eastern Studies, University of Minnesota and ICGC graduate fellow.

Anarchipelagic Cosmopolitanism concerns around lives in specific “non-governable” watery spaces in the South Asian region that often tend to exceed and break off from territorial limitations of relations.

This event is in-person.

The AMES Colloquium is a forum for academic research on Asia and/or the Middle East. The Colloquium is free and open to everyone. Sincere thanks for the sponsorship from the Pat Hui Fellowship.
