New Faculty Joining GES

Emily Fairfax

Geography, Environment & Society is excited to welcome Dr. Emily Fairfax, who will be joining our department as a new faculty member, starting the Fall 2023 semester. Emily is a broadly trained ecohydrologist. She uses a combination of remote sensing, modeling, and fieldwork to understand how beaver ecosystem engineering can create climate refugia, across North America.
