Geography Undergrad Receives a Fulbright

Margaret Anderson

Undergraduate Margaret Anderson, a double major in Geography and Spanish and Portuguese Studies, has been awarded a Fulbright to work in Brazil!  Margaret has been working with GES faculty member, Kate Derickson, for years on environmental change and its impact on Gullah/Geechee communities in Nassau County, Florida.  Margaret previousely spent a year in Chile and studied abroad in Brazil.  She's an extremely accomplished student with a very bright future ahead of her and the award is well deserved.
