Two Geography grad students recieve IDF

Congratulations to Maryia Bakhtsiyarava and Joshua Eichen on being awarded Interdisciplinary Doctoral Fellowships for the 2018-19 academic year. The U wide competition for these awards is extremely stiff.  This year only 21% of applicants received the award.  GES is pleased to have two awardees!  Joshua will be working with the Center for Early Modern History and Mariya with the Center for Global Health and Social Responsibility during the next academic year.  Congratulations on your accomplishment!
