Educator Workshops

The Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies supports educators through workshops and seminars facilitated by leading experts in Holocaust and genocide education. Through these workshops, we develop and distribute a myriad of resources for teaching age-appropriate lessons about the Holocaust and genocide.

The Center’s 2024 Summer Educator Institute, Building Bridges of Understanding Practical Approaches to Genocide Education, will give participants the opportunity to learn from faculty and emerging scholars from the University of Minnesota and to connect with fellow educators from across the region. Through a combination of instruction, lessons, and conversations, the 2024 Institute aims to provide a deeper and more nuanced understanding of genocide.
