Event Recordings: Art & Faith Bridging the Jewish and Black Communities
On May 11-12, the Twin Cities Houses of Worship (HOW) Project and its partners hosted a two-day event for the public to learn about and engage with the intertwining histories of Jewish and Black communities. This event took place at a historic building in North Minneapolis that has served two congregations since its construction: the Jewish Tifereth B’Nai Jacob congregation and the Holiness/Pentecostal First Church of God in Christ congregation.
If you were unable to attend in person, recordings of these community-engaged discussions are now available. Additionally, view the original event post or read "Building a Community: The Sacred Space that Bridged Two Minneapolis Congregations" to learn more.
