My general research field encompasses computational GIS, GeoAI, and CyberGIScience and their applications in various research areas. My past research works included spatiotemporal epidemiology and bioinformatics, animal movement, microservices and spatial on-line analytical processing (SOLAP), location-based services (LBS), and integration of remote sensing (RS) and GIS. Currently, my research is primarily focused on agricultural field delineation using remotely sensed (big) data.
