Aamina Ahmad is the author of "The Return of Faraz Ali," (Riverhead, Sceptre) which was named an NYT editor's pick for April 2022 and listed on NPR's Books We Love 2022. She has been the recipient of a Stegner Fellowship, a Pushcart Prize, and a Rona Jaffe Writer’s Award. Her writing has appeared in the NYT, One Story, The Southern Review, LitHub, and elsewhere. She is the author of a play, The Dishonored, which was produced in the UK and published by Oberon. She has also worked as a television script editor for BBC Drama Series and various independent production companies.
