Yomary Carrillo is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese Studies at the University of Minnesota. She completed her MA in History and Heritage at the Université Lumière Lyon 2 in France, where she specialized in printed heritage collections, including printmaking. Yomary researches modern and premodern Iberian and Spanish-American history and literature. Her research interests include archives, public history, migration studies, and colonial and postcolonial studies. She completed her BA in philosophy at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia.
