I am a PhD candidate in Dr. Kerry Ebert's Child Language Disorders Across Diverse Contexts Lab and Dr. Liza Finestack's Child Language Intervention Lab. Prior to my doctoral studies, I worked as a Korean-English bilingual speech language pathologist for 6 years. My research interests focus on the assessment, intervention, and diagnosis of speech and language disabilities in multilingual children. My dissertation examines grammatical language development in young Korean-English bilingual children, with the long-term goal of improving the assessment of bilingual children's language skills. In addition, I am interested in exploring how caregivers' language use, social interaction, and cultural components influence early language development and intervention, particularly among Korean-English bilingual children.
