I joined the University Libraries in July 2005 as the Evening Circulation Supervisor for the Bio-Medical Library. In April 2007 I joined the staff of the Map Library as a Library Assistant, supervising student workers processing a large collection backlog and assisting patrons with reference questions. In June 2010, I became the Head of the Map Library, adding responsibilities including collection development and management and liaison work relating to Geography, Cartography and GIS. In 2015 I received my MGIS degree from the University of Minnesota. I began teaching GIS 5576 (Spatial Digital Humanities) in 2016.
