I graduated from Washington University in Saint Louis in 1998 with a PhD in German literature. Since the fall of 1998, I have been teaching Dutch and German language and literature at the University of Minnesota. My content courses focus largely on contemporary German and Dutch literature. Recent topics include World War II and the holocaust, colonial and post-colonial Dutch literature, Dutch-Caribbean literature, literature and culture of the German Democratic Republic, and German-Ukranian literature. I also teach Business German.
