Collegiate Affiliation
Jasmin Pannier studies global modern photography, with an emphasis on South Asia and its history of colonization. Her research interests include the spaces of collection, creation, and display, particularly with regard to the histories of racial, national and international identity. She holds a BA in art history and anthropology from the University of California, Irvine, an MA in art history from the University of California, Irvine, and was a 2016-17 Virginia Laddey Fellow in Irvine, CA. Pannier has worked at the Getty Research Center and has taught courses at the Laguna College of Art and Design, Riverside Community College, and Moreno Valley College.
