Jasmin Pannier studies visual and material culture of World War I (1914-1919). Her research focuses on the production, exhibition, and preservation of salvaged materials created by soldiers fighting on the front lines for the Allied and Central Powers. She holds a BA in art history and anthropology from the University of California, Irvine, an MA in art history from the University of California, Irvine, and was a 2016-17 Virginia Laddey Fellow in Irvine, CA. Pannier has worked at the Getty Research Center and has taught courses at the Laguna College of Art and Design, Riverside Community College, and Moreno Valley College.
