Laura Heilman
Laura is committed to providing inclusive services to help students recognize their strengths, explore meaningful options after college, articulate the value of their liberal arts degree, and empower them to achieve their goals. Laura completed her undergraduate degrees in psychology and communication from the University of Minnesota-Duluth before working as a college access and success coach with the Twin-Cities-based nonprofit organization College Possible. During this experience, Laura developed a passion for helping students navigate the career development process within higher education. She went on to earn her MA in leadership in student affairs from the University of St. Thomas where she gained experience in career services and academic advising at Augsburg College and in the dean of students office at Macalester College, prior to joining the CLA Career Services team in 2015.
