Olivia Vruwink, MS CCC-SLP, is a third-year in the Department of Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences at the University of Minnesota. Her research explores the traumatic brain injury (TBI) patient–care partner dyad, with a focus on how caregiver factors such as stress, burden, and purpose in life contribute to overall well-being and rehabilitation outcomes. She is also interested in public understanding and misconceptions about TBI, as well as the scholarship of teaching and learning in the field of communication sciences and disorders.
