Non-Degree Graduate Credit
Non-degree students may take graduate courses with instructor permission. Enrollment does not guarantee future admission to the American Indian and Indigenous Studies PhD program, but it is a way to earn graduate credit for professional development or personal enrichment.
Graduate-level AIS courses taken as a non-degree student are not guaranteed to transfer should an individual later gain admission to a degree program. The Department of American Indian Studies will not consider non-degree credits for application to PhD requirements prior to an offer of admission.
