The Department of Art History is very sad to announce the loss of our friend and colleague, Emeritus Professor Catherine M. Asher, who died at her home in Minneapolis on April 14, 2023. More information about her life and career and the Department’s plans for commemorating both will be available soon. Share your own story here.
Cathy’s children have asked that any donations in her honor be made to the American Institute of Indian Studies.
