CGES offers a variety of funding opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students and faculty at the University of Minnesota and beyond. 

• The DAAD Grant. Applications are open from Feb 1st to March 30th 2025 for faculty interested in submitting ideas for projects in CY26 - 27. Apply here.
• The Hella Mears Summer Research Fellowships in German & European Studies provides $6,000 fellowship summer funding to conduct dissertation research for advanced graduate students in the College of Liberal Arts, who specialize in German & European studies.
• Travel grants for graduate students in German & European studies to present at scholarly conferences.
