Funding

The HSPH program has a range of funding available to our master’s students. Every master’s student is eligible for up to two paid in-semester internships and a paid summer position providing professional experience.  These positions are made possible through HSPH’s partnership with the Minnesota Historical Society.

We may also provide scholarships covering tuition and health plan.  These scholarships are prioritized for students who work full time while completing their degree.

When positions are available, students in the program may work as teaching and research assistants, which provides additional financial support in the form of stipends in addition to tuition and health insurance benefits. We may also nominate you for a fellowship, providing similar benefits to the graduate assistantships but without the teaching or research work requirements.  Your eligibility for our fellowships is considered automatically; no additional application is required.
