IHRC Graduate Student Collaborative
The IHRC offers UMN graduate students studying any aspect of migration the chance to network, share expertise, meet with established scholars, and engage in professional development. This dedicated programming is a mix of in-person and online events for graduate students across disciplines. The IHRC aims to serve as a resource for scholarship, a safe place to share works-in-progress, and a hub for migration-related research and funding support.

The IHRC Graduate Student Collaborative provides regular opportunities for graduate students from all disciplines to present their work-in-progress to other graduate students, staff, and/or faculty. Fill out the IHRC Grad Student Workshop Interest Form if you’re interested in presenting your work-in-progress.
The IHRC Graduate Student Collaborate provides professional development opportunities. Past events include a webinar on non-academic job searches and a webinar on finding and applying for fellowships.

The IHRC Graduate Student Collaborative hosts networking and social events, as well as other opportunities to meet migration scholars. Past events include IHRC Open Houses, lunch with the IHRC Director Llana Barber, and coffee with Professors Rose Cuison-Villazor, Charlotte Karem Albrecht, Sergio Gonzalez, and Carol Cleaveland.
