Join us on for a documentary screening that tells the story of the death of Amir Locke who was sleeping when Minneapolis and St. Paul SWAT officers executed a No Knock Warrant on February 2, 2022. In addition to showing how a Minneapolis Police Officer killed Amir, the documentary shows his family’s efforts to obtain justice for their son. Watch the trailer for a preview of the film.

After screening the documentary, there will be a question and answer session with Amir’s Aunt and Uncle, Linda Kay and Andrew Tyler, the executive producers of the film and Amir’s parents, Karen Wells and Andre Locke, Sr.

Timeline

  • Doors open at 5:30 pm
  • Welcoming remarks at 6:00 pm
  • Musical performance (TBD) at 6:10 pm
  • Documentary will start at 6:30 pm
  • Question & answer session at 8:30 pm
