Applications due to CPS for preliminary review by October 13th!

Students planning to apply for an IDF through the Center for Premodern Studies this funding cycle are encouraged to notify the Center of their plans as soon as possible. Prospective IDF applicants can learn more about the benefits of an IDF in CPS and the application process in the linked Google document CPS IDF Additional Information 2025.  

IAS will host an information session about what makes a strong IDF application for students applying this year or future years on Friday, October 3, 2025 from 2-3:15 pm online. Register for additional information.

Due Dates

Application materials are due to the Center for Premodern Studies: Monday, October 13.

Please note that other centers may have different application due dates.

IDF Applications are due to the Graduate School: November 7, 2025, at 5 pm Central Time.

Complete applications are submitted to the Graduate School by the applicant’s home department, not the proposed IDF Center. Make sure that your DGS is also aware that you are applying for this program.
