Norien Kassab is working on a study of medieval Isalmic views of Christ with Professor Nabil Matar.

Two CLA DFRACS (Dean's Freshman Research and Creative Scholars program) students currently working with Religious Studies faculty presented their research at the CLA Research and Creative Arts Fair on March 31, 2022.

Norien Kassab is working on a study of medieval Isalmic views of Christ with Professor Nabil Matar.  She has been reading several medieval Arabic texts to discern the variety of understandings. She presented a poster at the research fair [I'm attaching several photos -- use whichever ones you like]

Zuhaib Noor participated virtually, with a 2-minute video description of his work with Dr. Jeanne Kilde on the Houses of Worship Project.  His video is available here.  Zuhaib has been mining African American newspaper archives to find information on a Black church in North Minneapolis in the 1930s-1980s. He has also been working on migrating the current website to a new platform.
