Statistics Alumna Announcement: Francesca Chiaromonte

Francesca Chiaromonte, who obtained her PhD from the School in 1996 working with Dennis Cook, was recently named Huck Chair in Statistics for the Life Sciences at Penn State University.  For the past 10 years she served as the director of the Huck Genome Sciences Institute, developing statistical methods for the “Omics” sciences.
