West Bank Arts Quarter BBQ

All UMTAD faculty, students, and staff are invited to a West Bank Arts Quarter Barbeque on Tuesday, April 30 from 12:00 – 1:15 p.m. in front of Rarig Center. This event is held in collaboration with the Department of Theatre Arts & Dance and the Department of Art. Vegetarian options available.

Marcus Young's wild flow public movement practice Don't You Feel It Too? will be at the Arts Quarter BBQ for a mini-session from 12:00-12:30 p.m. Open to all, DYFIT is daring, accessible, and participatory dance and movement – a form of healing, art, and social engagement. Practicing public free-form movement cultivates stress relief, resilience, and belonging. And FUN!

How to participate: bring your earbuds and some beloved pocket music (aka phone), dress for movement. You will be guided through warm-up, introduction, collective liberating movement, cool-down, and reflection. We'll have extra earbuds just in case.
