Currently, I am an academic adviser for the Department of Spanish and Portuguese Studies. In this position, I work with students on declaring majors and minors in the departments, exploring internship and practicum opportunities, assisting students with planning study abroad experiences, and reviewing program requirements. For students looking for ways to get involved on-campus, I advise the student organization Spanish and Portuguese Across Cultures Organization. If you are interested in utilizing Spanish or Portuguese outside the classroom, this is a great club to join! We hold weekly conversation hours, volunteer activities, movie nights, salsa nights, study abroad panels and more!
