I am a PhD candidate in Communication Studies at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities (UMN), where I study media discourses of water scarcity. My dissertation examines community stakeholder communication surrounding climate adaptation in the Andalucía wine region in southern Spain. I have previously taught in-person and asynchronous undergraduate communication courses and am currently a graduate research assistant for the Center for Oldest Ice Exploration (COLDEX). Presently, I serve on the UMN Water Council, the International Environmental Communication Association Board of Directors, and the United States Global Leadership Coalition Minnesota State Advisory Council.
