The Creative Writing Program and the Edelstein-Keller Visiting Writer Series present a reading and discussion with debut authors and MFA alums Mike Alberti (Some People Let You Down: Stories, with University of North Texas Press), Kendra Atleework (Miracle Country: A Memoir, with Algonquin Books), and Joseph Harris (You’re in the Wrong Place: Stories, with Wayne State University Press), along with Beaudelaine Pierre (You May Have the Suitcase Now, with New Rivers Press). Pierre is a doctoral candidate in Gender Women and Sexuality Studies at the University of Minnesota.
