Meet our 2020-21 job market candidates

2020 JMCs

The Department of Economics is proud to present this year's cohort of doctoral job market candidates. These fourteen junior scholars have spent their time in our program gaining a thorough grounding in economic analysis, balancing theory and application. In addition to conducting research and participating in our workshop system, our students have gained extensive teaching experience.

This year's cohort enters the job market with expertise in a broad range of fields, including macroeconomics, industrial organization, international trade, and public economics. Their research examines topics like sovereign debt, mergers, the US-China trade war, bank regulation, income inequality, and medical insurance competition. We invite you to learn more about each of the scholars and their research.

We are proud of the contributions that our past graduates have made in the Economics field and expect that this year’s group will continue that tradition.
