Language Pedagogy

The Language Center offers for-credit courses to support graduate students’ professional development as teacher-scholars. These courses have the subject LGTT, which stands for Language Teaching and Technology.

Academic-Year Courses

The Language Center offers Advanced Teaching Methods: Integrating Language and Disciplinary Content (LGTT 8999) on a biannual basis during the academic year.

This course is cross-listed with FRIT 8999 and GSD 8103.

Summer Courses

The Language Center offers LGTT courses as part of the CARLA Summer Institute program.  

Past courses include:

• Using Technology in Second Language Teaching (LGTT 5110)
• Using the Web for Communicative Language Learning (LGTT 5111)
