Certificates of Advanced Proficiency Online

This semester, students of Chinese, French, German, and Spanish have the opportunity to complete the Certificate of Advanced Proficiency in their language.

These certificate programs are intended for undergraduate students who are interested in achieving advanced-level proficiency, and having their skills formally recognized. The final elements of the certificate programs, the self-assessments, the critical reflection essay and the ACTFL tests, are all exclusively online. Because the tests will be remotely administered by the Language Testing Program over several days, beginning the process early is essential. Students interested in completing this semester are encouraged to contact the appropriate language program right away:
