SOCALLT Conference: Virtual Keynote on #OnYGo Available

Language Center Director and Institute of Linguistics Associate Professor Amanda Dalola gave the virtual keynote at the SOCALLT conference on April 6, 2024. If you were not able to attend in person or online, the recording is now available on YouTube.

Amanda introduced #OnYGo, an innovative Open Educational Resource (OER) created by her and co-authors Géraldine Blattner (Florida Atlantic University) and Stéphanie Roulon (Portland State University). It is designed to revolutionize language learning in first-year French by challenging conventional textbooks’ often narrow view of the cultures and languages in the francophone world by prioritizing the themes of inclusion and linguistic justice.
