New Journal Featuring Article on PACE Project Data

The inaugural issue of Second Language Research & Practice, the open-access journal of the American Association of University Supervisors and Coordinators (AAUSC), is now available! The issue celebrates 30 years of AAUSC publications with six research articles from former editors of Issues in Language Program Direction and includes a special section on postsecondary language education in times of crisis.

The issue includes the article The proficiency profile of language students: Implications for programs, in which Dan Soneson from the University of Minnesota PACE project, along with colleagues from Michigan State University and the University of Utah, provide an overall picture of language proficiency levels attained by undergraduate students learning six languages in postsecondary language programs.

Other University of Minnesota colleagues who contributed to the issue include Carol Klee, Kate Paesani, and Lauren Truman.

Second Language Research & Practice is published by the National Foreign Language Resource Center (NFLRC) in partnership with CARLA, CERCLL, COERLL, L2TReC, and ORLC.
