#OnYGo

Congratulations to Language Center Director and Institute of Linguistics Associate Professor Amanda Dalola, and her team, Géraldine Blattner (Florida Atlantic University), and Stéphanie Roulon (Portland State University) for receiving the CALICO 2024 Access to Language Education (ALE) Award for their groundbreaking open educational resource (OER) for first-year French, #OnYGo.

#OnYGo is an innovative, OER e-textbook that takes a multimodal, multicultural and translanguaging approach to the instruction of beginning French.Through authentic materials and activities, #OnYGo makes the learning of French varieties and cultures accessible to all, by promoting linguistic justice and transforming learning in engaging ways that equip students as globally aware, empathetic citizens engaged with the entire francophone world.

Join us in celebrating this remarkable achievement pushing the boundaries of language learning and setting new standards for language education! Félicitations to the #OnYGo team!
