Introducing TandemPlus Peer-to-Peer (Study Buddy) Option!

Language learners typically join TandemPlus to be matched with a native speaker of their target language for a one-on-one language and cultural exchange. The benefits of practicing with a native speaker are many, but some students do not find an ideal match. In response, the TandemPlus program is expanding the program to meet the needs of more students.

Introducing the TandemPlus Peer-to-Peer language exchange initiative, which allows participants the choice to search for a “language peer” of the language they are learning, not just a “native speaker.” This option is available for everyone in the program, and current participants can opt in. We hope that it will allow more students to find meaningful partnerships! To get started, join or sign into TandemPlus at tandem.umn.edu. Please email tandem@umn.edu with questions.
