LANG Courseshare for Spring 2019

Did you know that a growing number of University of Minnesota students are enrolling in Big Ten language and culture courses? Enrollment in CourseShare remains small, 33 students total for Fall 2018, but the number has been growing steadily over the past three years.

The following LANG CourseShare courses are open for Spring 2019 registration:

  • LANG 4171: Introduction to Aramaic I
  • LANG 2201: Accelerated Basque I (permission required)
  • LANG 2012: Accelerated Catalan II
  • LANG 3012:  Advanced Catalan: Language, Society and Culture
  • LANG 5221 Introduction to Middle Egyptian & Hieroglyphics I
  • LANG 5231 Special Topics in Hebrew Studies: Israeli Innovation and Entrepreneurship (fully online course)
  • LANG 3505: Controversies in Contemporary Korea
  • LANG 1062: Beginning Persian II
  • LANG 1072: Beginning Polish II (partially online course)
  • LANG 2072: Intermediate Polish II (partially online course)
  • LANG 2102: Intermediate Modern Tibetan II
  • LANG 1122: Beginning Vietnamese II (fully online course)
  • LANG 2122: Intermediate Vietnamese II (fully online course)

Students and advisors who do not see the language or level they are looking for should email Stephanie as soon as possible at elsie@umn.edu to convey their interest. Please note that space is limited in all of these courses, and that most have special start and end dates.
