TandemPlus Face-to-Face Online – Registration Reopens

We are very fortunate that we live in times when we have the technology to allow us to continue to communicate with one another when we’re hardly able to meet in-person. A challenge that would otherwise be insurmountable for a conversation exchange program is made entirely possible due to the technologies we enjoy daily. While TandemPlus very much supports social distancing, TandemPlus is also all about making connections with others, and there are virtual options available! The Face-to-Face program will continue – online.

Now more than ever, participants might find themselves desiring an opportunity to meet new people safely. To adapt to necessary changes we are reopening registration for Face-to-Face partnerships for Spring Semester. Interested in branching out your social network and learning from others in your community and abroad via virtual language and culture exchange? Sign yourself up at tandemplus.umn.edu by navigating to the “My Account” tab and registering with your UMN Internet ID or a personal email account.

While we cannot guarantee partnerships in your chosen target language we will do our best to find a match for you. Many of our participants are focused on sharing and broadening their cultural understanding and are paired for cultural conversation exchange rather than language exchange.
