Jump start the redesign process and learn how today’s technologies can be used to promote all three modes of communication, as well as facilitate cross-campus relationships needed for course sharing. This 2 day hands-on retreat covers synchronous and asynchronous lesson design, engagement and community building to reach all learners, and fostering communicative proficiency with the support of today’s technology. Whether you are just looking to beef up your face to face class or you are looking to redesign a course for blended or completely online environments, the topics addressed and hands-on time will give you a great start towards the change you are seeking. Plenty of tips and tricks for building your courses in Canvas will be included.
Workshop Fees:
- Redesign grant participants attend free of charge
- All other UW Instructors: $85
- Non-UW participants: $175
- Fees include breakfast, lunch and workshop materials
