Learning Abroad

Study, work, internships, or volunteer experiences abroad can greatly enrich a major or minor in linguistics. Many of our students find that it is the highlight of their college career. We urge you to take advantage of the opportunities available worldwide.

Find general learning abroad information, including programs available, advising, financial aid and scholarships, policies and procedures, and application materials at the Learning Abroad Center.

Early planning and systematic consultation with advisors in the Learning Abroad Center and the department is key to assuring you:

  • Find the right program for you
  • Meet application or scholarship deadlines
  • Are able to apply appropriate courses taken abroad to your major/minor and/or liberal education requirements
