The University Symphony Orchestra closes the concert season with a celebration of music from the stage and screen.  Humperdinck’s vibrant Prelude to Hänsel und Gretel opens the program, setting the stage for Copland’s iconic Appalachian Spring.  In recognition of the special calendar date, the program closes with John Williams’ epic Suite from Star Wars.
