Alumna Maria Mannone Presents at Botanical Garden of Palermo
Maria Mannone (PhD 2017, composition, student of Alex Lubet) presented her interdisciplinary research about mathematics, music, and forms of nature at the Botanical Garden of Palermo, Italy. She played several samples of her music at the piano. The presentation ended with the performance (video and audio recording) of a new piece she composed, based on the structure of some trees of the Botanical Garden.
